March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month


Colorectal cancer is cancer of the rectum and colon. Unlike some cancers, colorectal cancer is 90 percent curable with early detection and treatment!

There is an immediate need for Creole speaking medical professionals (doctors and nurses) to immediately deploy to Haiti. Currently, the specialties most relevant to the crisis are general surgery, family, orthopedics, infectious disease, pediatrics and nutrition.

Eastern Connecticut Gastroenterology Associates (ECGA), LLC, formerly of Vernon, CT, has moved to to 272 Main Street in Manchester, CT, just one block from Manchester Memorial Hospital. Dr. Patrick Dorvilus will continue his affilation with Rockville Hospital.


This new location will allow Dr. Dorvilus to be accessible to more patients, to expand the office space, and to offer new patient services, including dietary and nutritional consultations.
